Sunday, 10th April to Friday, 31st March 2012

Exhibition "Die Unbestechlichen" (The incorruptible)

No, it's not about the movie with the same name, staring Kevin Costner. The exhibition deals with the little cheats in daily traffic. The clock and watch industry developed complex precision machines to avoid these cheats. Machines like taximeters, tachographs and parkometers. The production of taximeters started with the turn of the century in the factory of Carl Werner, based in Villingen. At the same time Junghans in Schramberg also worked at the development of new products for automobiles. The reasons for the development of these machines are people. Whatever they do, parking in the city, driving a truck, shopping for gas or in case of an accident, only objective dosing devices and efficient technical solutions ensure positive proof before the law.

Admission: adult 5,00 EUR / children (up to 14 years) 3,00 EUR
